X Games is where we cut our teeth back in 1998 – and it remains the breeding ground for excellence: from the Athletes and events to the tech AND the Production Teams. Now more than ever the X Games is continuing to explore ways to engage audiences across a “fragmented distribution” landscape. While alt casts started as experiments for second screen experiences they have evolved to become a core (maybe the main?) offering of events like X Games. Producing the right content for the right platform is the secret in the sauce

THE PLAYBOOK

The X Games digital interactive experience extends the traditional linear broadcast into interactive and social platforms (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Caffeine) We were tired of waiting for someone to build a tool that combines what we love about streaming culture and mixes it with the best of traditional broadcast workflows- so we built our own. Fanvibes allows us to entertain and INTERACT with the millions tuning in on the X Games digital platforms (some are there to watch their heroes, others might have never watched action sports before.) By flexing all the muscles in our streaming arsenal our goal is making sure that everyone online is informed and entertained – and that the audience vibes are riding high.
