Toast's first athlete project with Red Bull

Red Bull Toast Trials put eight creators on a custom-built course and dared them to go bigger, faster, and funnier than the person before them. A format engineered to generate clips, and it delivered on every front. Premium where it counts, scuffed where it's funny. Intentionally a little busted, but built with Red Bull production value behind every frame. Nothing here was made for a trophy case. It was made for the feed.

Moment it could have all fallen apart?

Eight creators. One course. Eight different definitions of funny, and Red Bull's name on all of it.

The risk was never the build or the schedule. It was tone. Put a brand behind streamer chaos and it usually stops being chaos. It turns into a campaign wearing a costume. The fails get sanded down. The personalities get notes.

So we didn't sand anything down. We held Red Bull-grade craft on the course, the lighting, and the look, then let the creators be exactly as unpredictable as they showed up.

What is Red Bull Toast Trials?
Saint-Sauveur, Quebec
+-

A creator-led competition format built for Red Bull, centered on Toast's first athlete project with the brand. Eight creators take on a custom-built course, going bigger and funnier each run. It's engineered to generate short-form clips: humour, fails, and streamer personality, all built for the feed.

Why put eight creators on one course?
Saint-Sauveur, Quebec
+-

Because competition needs stakes, and stakes need people you want to root for. Eight creators with eight different instincts means real tension, real reactions, and a different highlight every run. That's what makes it repeatable instead of a one-off.

What platforms did the content target?
Saint-Sauveur, Quebec
+-

Platform-first, by design. The format was built to break into vertical, social-native cut-downs for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other major channels, where multiple clips cleared a million views each, alongside longer hero content.

How does Boombox build formats that actually generate clips?
Saint-Sauveur, Quebec
+-

We design the clip in before the cameras roll. The course, the competition structure, and the graphics package are all built around the moments we know will travel: humour, fails, and personality. Intentionally a little busted, just like Streamer Games. Premium where it counts.

How does Boombox think about platform-first vs. broadcast-first content?
Saint-Sauveur, Quebec
+-

We start platform-first for almost everything we make. Broadcast reaches a defined audience at a defined time. Platform-first content reaches people on their terms, in the formats they've already chosen. Starting vertical doesn't just scale better. It forces clarity about what's actually compelling before a single frame is shot.
